During the course of the observation project in Tilbury town I realized that there is very popular and interesting business going on in the town which is the business of the wastes. A portion of the people there run recycling plants. This led me to observing waste material more closely and find ways to recycle. In Systems and Workshop I conducted a few experiments with waste bottles I picked up from the streets. I used by wires and tape to bind them in different way taking into consideration shapes, colours and functions, In this way converting waste into a piece of art or an appealing object.

Broken and still living I built up empty boxes and it represent the aspect of destruction of Tilbury. And then I added yellow colours at there and it gives a life to the building. Actually the colour takes just a little part of it but it has big effect.

"Shade & Strap"
A play with light also brings out a sense of dynamism. This process of wrapping also Contrast between Light and shade give a strong and dynamic feeling
"Metal & Strap"
In this piece I tried to wrap metal strips around
Wire, almost treating the metal strips like fabric or paper. This I realised visually changed the hardness of the metal to a softness associated with fabric.
Nature sometimes make me inspired.
"A Bunch of Strap"
My exploration then led me to taking a closer look at fabrics itself which is in a way also one element wraped around the other "A Bunch of Straps"

The natural texture of materials is something that caught my attention and expecially that of wood.
I experimented with its texture by using techniques like sanding.
Another observation I made was that
most porcelain products are polished to be smooth and glossy.
My exploration involved imprinting wood texture on to clay and then creating a mould with this.

I explored with materials that had contrasting properties and tried combining them together by introducing simple machining processes as drilling cutting etc.
During the work shop process I also started exploring with used parts such as Cycle chains. What was interesting about this was how the engineering already applied to this object had given it properties that could be used for other functions as well.
A simple machining process to the Veneer had changed the property of the material making it appear a lot more flexible and fluid.Using plastic and Veneer together created a play with form, as well as light and shadow.

was looking into using plaster to emerge other materials and create new textures:
